Welcome to Astrology 101 + : Understanding Your Natal Birth Chart! Your natal chart is a celestial blueprint for your lifetime, offering a treasure trove of insight — from career direction to relationships, to karma and destiny — and much more.
When you’re learning about your chart, it's easy to become overwhelmed by it’s many layers and components. In this five-part series, I’ll breakdown the different elements of a natal chart, layer by layer, in accessible, and thought-provoking ways. At the end the series, you’ll have a much greater knowing of yourself through the transformative lens of astrology.
This class series is great for beginners, and intermediate students who want to gain new illumination into their personal astrology.

Session One: Introduction + Your Astrological Trinity
Sunday, September 21 ~ 10:00am to 11:30am PDT
Introduction to Astrology and the twelve signs/archetypes of the zodiac. Your astrological trinity: Sun, Moon and Ascendant, are key players in your personal astrology. The Sun represents your essence and individuality; the Moon, your inner personality: feelings, emotions and subconscious, and your ascendant (or rising sign) shows how you present yourself to the world.
Session Two: Personal Planets + the 12 Houses
Sunday, October 5 ~ 10:00am to 11:30am PDT
Looking at the Personal Planets — Mercury (thinking and communication), Venus (relationship and what you value), and Mars (desire and life force) — and how they’re expressed in your chart. The Astrological Houses each represent a different area of life, and are the playing fields where your planets express themselves.
Session Three: Social Planets + Astro Review/ Q +A
Sunday, October 19 ~ 10:00am to 11:30am PDT
Exploring the Social Planets: expansive, zeitgeist-influencer Jupiter and timely, strict Saturn, and how they work in your chart. Catch-up and review what we’ve explored so far. One-on-one time — the opportunity to ask me specific questions about your chart… and anything Astro!
Session Four: Outer Planets + Lunar Nodes
Sunday, Nov 2 ~ 10:00am to 11:30am PST
The Outer Planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, influence your connection to universal and collective energies and archetypes. The Lunar Nodes represent karma and destiny. Exploring the North and South Nodes, their signs and placement in your chart.
Session Five: Aspects and Transits + Astrological trends for 2025
Sunday, Nov 16 ~ 10:00am to 11:30am PST
Aspects represent the relationship between signs and planets, indicating challenges and harmony. Transits are where the current planets are moving through your chart. Megan gives an overview on the current astrological trends for 2025, and a glimpse into 2026.

You’ll want your natal birth chart for this class series. If you don’t already have your chart, you can order one at no cost at SoDivine.Us. You do need your birth time to run your chart. If you don’t know your birthtime, let me know and I’ll run a chart for you, using your sun sign.
You will receive an Understanding Your Natal Astrology Chart pdf, to guide you through the class.
